{"id":4463,"date":"2025-07-09T13:40:02","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T03:40:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unisport.wpenginepowered.com\/?post_type=unis_sport&#038;p=4463"},"modified":"2025-11-24T16:28:54","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T05:28:54","slug":"cross-country","status":"publish","type":"unis_sport","link":"https:\/\/www.unisport.com.au\/sport\/cross-country\/","title":{"rendered":"Cross Country"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In 2026, Cross Country\u00a0will be held in conjunction with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletics.com.au\/event\/2026-australian-cross-country-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">2026 Australian Cross Country Championships<\/a> on the 22 &#8211; 23 August 2026 and will be contested in both <strong>men&#8217;s<\/strong> and <strong>women&#8217;s <\/strong>events, with <strong>multi-class <\/strong>events also included in the competition program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Men &amp; Women (10km)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U20 Men (8km)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U20 Women (6km)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi Class Open Men &amp; Women (3km)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi Class U20 Men &amp; Women (3km)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bUniSport Australia respectfully acknowledges the&nbsp;traditional owners of the land on which the 2026 Nationals Cross Country&nbsp;will take place.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Mixed Team Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Mixed Team Relay will also be contested at the Nationals Cross Country Championship. The relay will consist of 2 men and 2 women each running one loop of the course. The order is Male, Female, Male, Female.
