The World Masters Games are an international multi-sport competition held every four years by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA) for athletes over the age of 30 and into their middle age and senior years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2029, the games head to Australia’s beautiful west coast and the capital city of Perth,<\/strong> Western Australia<\/strong>. The country\u2019s largest State, boasting the nation\u2019s longest coastline and sunniest capital city of Perth\/Boorloo, Western Australia is a place to recharge your spirit, outdoors in the fresh air and wide-open spaces, where it\u2019s always summer somewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The games will be delivered through a partnership between UniSport Australia <\/strong>and CAS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Masters Games Association (IMGA)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The International Masters Games Association (IMGA) is the representative body of Masters sport worldwide and founded in 1985 to support the Olympic movement and \u2018sport for all\u2019 philosophy. The IMGA is a non-profit organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They promote lifelong competition, friendship and understanding between mature sportspeople, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or sport status by organising sports festivals all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They believe life doesn\u2019t stop when we grow older. We can still choose or start every day to live a healthy lifestyle and focus on what makes us feel good about ourselves. Experience the joy of sharing that passion with other like-minded adults. Sport is an amazing tool that can help every individual with achieving their goals and maintaining physical and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IMGA aim to make their events accessible for everyone by selecting host cities in different regions that are also attractive from a tourism perspective. The flagship event of the IMGA, the World Masters Games, is officially world\u2019s largest international participatory multi-sport event. It takes place every four years, attracting tens of thousands of athletes to new locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1985 hundreds of thousands of athletes have gathered and competed at our World Masters Games, Winter World Masters Games and regional Masters Games (previously European, Asia- Pacific, Pan \u2013 American Masters Games; now Open Masters Series). They will continue their mission to inspire adults to challenge their capabilities at any age and enjoy life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
