Held as part of the 2025 Australian Cross Country Championships, Nationals Cross Country will be contested in men&#8217;s, women&#8217;s, and multi-class competitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year\u2019s championship will bring together some of Australia\u2019s best university runners from across the country in a national event supported by Australian Athletics. Part of the Winter Series, Nationals Cross Country will include several competitions across a variety of age divisions and distances:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Men &amp; Women \u2013 10km<\/li>\n<li>U20 Men \u2013 8km<\/li>\n<li>U20 Women \u2013 6km<\/li>\n<li>Multi Class Open Men &amp; Women \u2013 3km<\/li>\n<li>Multi Class U20 Men &amp; Women \u2013 3km<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition, Nationals Cross Country in 2025 will also feature a Mixed Team Relay, made up of two men and two women from each university team, running in the order male, female, male, female.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cIt\u2019s great to see the energy and excitement surrounding our National Cross Country Championship this year,\u201d said Mark Sinderberry, CEO of UniSport Australia, \u201cto be able to integrate our national championship into a marquee event on the Australian Athletics calendar gives our student athletes a fantastic opportunity to pit themselves against top athletic talent from the broader athletic community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Australian Athletics CEO, Simon Hollingsworth, welcomes the inclusion of the university division.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cUniSport cross country plays a vital role in our athletics ecosystem and we\u2019re proud to see it take centre stage alongside our national championships in Ballarat.
